It should as no surprise, of course, that the main game is needed in order to play this DLC. With this pack comes a couple of new items, such as clothing and some (space saving) furniture. That is not all, though. There are new challenges available. How small can a home be? Depending on that, the player may be able to earn some benefits. It does create a nice challenge, no questions asked.

However, it seems a little bit as though the developer was saving space by not packing a lot of items into this, rather than packing in lots of space saving items for a Sim household. Of course, a couple of the items are truly helpful, and space saving indeed, but there is a lot of missed potential. Tables that can swing out from the wall, the ability to build a gallery that is only half the height of a normal room and can be used as a bed, or storage inside walls are only a few ideas that would have been interesting to see implemented.

In summary, The Sims 4: Tiny Living Stuff Pack is not totally disappointing, but also not very interesting. It could have been implemented as part of one of the bigger DLCs, instead of being released on its own. Since it is relatively small, the current retail price seems hardly justified, but for true collectors, lovers of challenges, or those wanting to experience their Sims in tiny houses, it may well be a nice add-on.
